Be the change you want to see in the world
-Mahatma Gandhi
I might be joining a speech competition in 2 weeks time! That is if I couldn't assemble a good team for the debate championship or I can write up a good enough script that I'm confident of, but knowing myself, writing a formal speech is so not what I am good in.
Making a search for the title of the speech competition 'Let us be the Change' I started off by reading some (does one count as some?) really inspiring article:
Gandhi believed in leading by setting a personal example in one’s life – of living life in a way that demonstrated ‘the change you want to see’. He advocated non-violence not just because he thought it would be a successful tactic against the British Empire, but because of his vision of a more peaceful world; a vision grounded in his own moral and religious principles. And then I found

Which end me up with this awesome AMV with the music by Carl Orff; Carmina Burana o Fortuna!
See how easy it is to CHANGE something with just ONE small thing, one small gesture, a click on the youtube link for stand up comedy I wasted hours watching and laughing myself off on stand-up comedy and then on song I couldn't even understand the meaning. It's always easier to change one small thing at a time.
Still remember how FIBONACCI SEQUENCE works? Yes by continuously adding the last two terms to generate the next terms. A change always start off from Zero just like a typical Fibonacci sequence, you have an idea of positive change that could be make but you didn't act on it, it stays ZERO, as and idea FOREVER, until someone decided to change HIMSELF first.
Make a change today, tell a friend and let him observe how it works, if the change is positive and it works for him, he will start to spread the idea with you, on the 30th turn you already have 514,229 person who knows about your cause, although it's merely 0.00756% of the world population, we are not going to stop there. Repeat the cycle 50 times and you will have 7,778,742,049 people who changed by your cause, that's when you can say that you've CHANGED THE WORLD.
With today's technology, and the shrinking of the world, informations are spread a lot faster. 50 turns which might had took hundreds of years back then had become faster, and rapid changes are not impossible! So start from yourself!
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.
