You know I'll be there...

Sometimes it's hard, for anyone to find out that the one they actually love look anywhere else but their way. Some choose to follow where their sight go, some choose to move their own way and hope that one day the sight of the one they love actually set on them, with your imagination, you could think of a thousand things one could do when someone they love doesn't fall for them. Of those ten of thousands of ways, I choose to stay me, right where we met, hoping that one day, when you look back and wondering where I am, wandering back to the place we met....

The Script - The Man Who Can't Be Moved

Going back to the corner where I first saw you,
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag. I'm not gonna move,
Got some words on cardboard got your picture in my hand,
Saying if you see this girl can you tell her where I am,
Some try to hand me money they don't understand,
I'm not... broke I'm just a broken hearted man,
I know it makes no sense, but what else can I do,
How can I move on when I've been in love with you...

Cos if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me,
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I can be,
Thinking maybe you'd come back here to the place that we'd meet,
And you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street.

So I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

Policeman says son you can't stay here,
I said there's someone I'm waiting for if it's a day, a month, a year,
Gotta stand my ground even if it rains or snows,
If she changes her mind this is the first place she will go.

I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

People talk about the guy
Whos waiting on a girl...
There are no holes in his shoes
But a big hole in his world...

Maybe I'll get famous as man who can't be moved,
And maybe you won't mean to but you'll see me on the news,
And you'll come running to the corner...
Cos you'll know it's just for you

I'm the man who can't be moved
I'm the man who can't be moved...

Cos if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me,
And your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I can be,
Thinking maybe you'd come back here to the place that we'd meet,
And you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street.
[Repeat in background]

So I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

I'm not moving...
I'm not moving.

Going back to the corner where I first saw you,
Gonna camp in my sleeping bag not I'm not gonna move.

Bury me, bury me!

Oh man, don't tell me it's happening again! I'm taking things too fast again, was I desperate or my pace was just too fast to keep up I wonder...

Anyway now I'll have to force myself to bury that feeling deep under my heart again. Picture this, you're putting in the seed and you finally see some crop emerging. As you think that things are getting smooth, you'll start to water it, and put in some fertilizers as you see fit. All of a sudden things change so fast and the crop turns brown and now black... It's rather hard to bear this feeling, but in the end, you'll have to bury it into the grown. Together with part of your heart, still holding on to that seed and hope that one day miracle will happen, and it would bloom. One day... hoping... and still continue to watering it

Yes love you I will... Always... Because a girl like you is impossible to find...

Nothing better than a 12 hour sleep!

It has been emotionally and physically tiring month for me. Since last Christmas, special events (lol as if I'm just playing another RPG game) has been poping up left and right. Good or bad, everything makes my life one worth living.

Really sorry to my partners who have been working on a great plan with me. I was rather distracted by all the small bits in my life and put it on a short halt. Now I'm slowly getting back in to shape I'll arrange something so our project can be run smoothly again. There are some great news that I'll share with you guys if you guys happen to read this. Get me your gmail ID so I could set up an account for you guys on our communication blog.

Been sleeping rather late recently. Looking back too often, and it's not a good thing. Why cry over spilled milk? Especially when the milk doesn't worth the tears. I have too much in the future or even at present to care about, so the past is merely a burden and it's a burden that I should already put down long ago...

Found someone new, one that I'd like to keep for a long long time to come. One with great personality, one that matches me and make myself whole again (watch Tenacious.D-The.Pick.Of.Destiny[2006]). It feels awesome, it's like the right person at the right time, and this doesn't come by much in anyone life.

Of course it got me into my emotional fatigue, those looking back comparing what I've wanted and the one I'm seeing, and in the course of looking back we bound to see some uninvited memories. Great that I've now made up my mind and know what I should do next. Which are:
  1. My mind on my money and my money on my mind
  2. My mind on my lover and my lover on my mind
Who said you can't have both thing in mind at the same time. That's why left and right brains are for!
THE Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.

Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.
Okay now I'm seeing it turning clockwise, I'll go do some work later, come back and see if it's anti-clockwise, since it's said that if you're on the logic side it should be anti-clockwise.

Now what I want to say is simple, love and career/money can co-exist, it should and it's very important for anyone to strike a balance between the two. In this matter I've always look up to Bill Gates, he have a great marriage, and he's one of the richest man in the world. If he could do it, why not you and me? It's all about getting our mind to work our way.

Looking back and looking at the title man, I'm writting stuff so unrelated to the title again lol, all I wanted to do was brag about how good I was at sleeping that I fell asleep after work, intended to get up at 9.30pm to do some work and it's 6am when I woke up! 12 hours of sleep! It hasn't happen for quite a long time!

Now that I feel energized, it will be a great day to come! No matter what direction the dancer above move, I'm sure that my clock/watch only move clockwise (literally since I'm using a digital clock on my phone). Get my mind set on the present and my sight set on the future. Oh I wish I can have another great sleep like this in the near future.

Friday the 13, storm before Valentine?

Valentine on Saturday is much anticipated, a lot of people are having their holidays, and it gives us guys no excuses not to give our ladies some special treatment, which is always bad for a broke guy like me. Everywhere is crowded with couples, restaurants, cinemas, beaches, hotels and even parking lot. Every red, pink and white product become a best seller in the store. Every romance related product getting relatively more expensive then other week of the year.

However everytime Valentine falls on Saturday which happens on 2004, 2009, 2015, 2026, it will be preceded by the Black Friday (girls can't you just take shopping off your mind !?). Friday the 13, it is suppose to be a bad day or at least in human history a lot of bad things happened. Storm, sinking ship, war fires and even financial crisis. So much so there's a phobia for this very day, Friday the 13! Man, a human psychology can really determine the success or failure of an event.

Let's look at some interesting findings about Friday the 13....

Quoting from Wikipedia:

Friday the 13th is a superstition about a day of good or bad luck.

The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia, a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskeví (Παρασκευή) (meaning Friday), and dekatreís (δεκατρείς) (meaning thirteen), attached to phobía (φοβία) (meaning fear). This is a specialized form of triskaidekaphobia, a simple phobia (fear) of the number thirteen, and is also known as friggatriskaidekaphobia. The term triskaidekaphobia was derived in 1911 and first appeared in a mainstream source in 1953.

One theory states that it is a modern amalgamation of two older superstitions: that thirteen is an unlucky number and that Friday is an unlucky day.
  • In numerology, the number twelve is considered the number of completeness, as reflected in the twelve months of the year, twelve signs of the zodiac, twelve hours of the clock, twelve tribes of Israel, twelve Apostles of Jesus, twelve gods of Olympus, etc., whereas the number thirteen was considered irregular, transgressing this completeness. There is also a superstition, thought by some to derive from the Last Supper or a Norse myth, that having thirteen people seated at a table will result in the death of one of the diners.

  • Friday has been considered an unlucky day at least since the 14th century's The Canterbury Tales, and many other professions have regarded Friday as an unlucky day to undertake journeys or begin new projects. Black Friday has been associated with stock market crashes and other disasters since the 1800s. It has also been suggested that Friday was the day that Jesus was crucified.

On the other hand, another theory by author Charles Panati, one of the leading authorities on the subject of "Origins" maintains that the superstition can be traced back to ancient myth:

The actual origin of the superstition, though, appears also to be a tale in Norse mythology. Friday is named for Frigga, the free-spirited goddess of love and fertility. When Norse and Germanic tribes converted to Christianity, Frigga was banished in shame to a mountaintop and labeled a witch. It was believed that every Friday, the spiteful goddess convened a meeting with eleven other witches, plus the devil - a gathering of thirteen - and plotted ill turns of fate for the coming week. For many centuries in Scandinavia, Friday was known as "Witches' Sabbath."

Another theory about the origin of the superstition traces the event to the arrest of the legendary Knights Templar. According to one expert:

The Knights Templar were a monastic military order founded in Jerusalem in 1118 C.E., whose mission was to protect Christian pilgrims during the Crusades. Over the next two centuries, the Knights Templar became extraordinarily powerful and wealthy. Threatened by that power and eager to acquire their wealth, King Philip secretly ordered the mass arrest of all the Knights Templar in France on Friday, October 13, 1307 - Friday the 13th.

Quoting from
Dossey, founder of the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in Asheville, N.C., estimates roughly 20 million Americans fall into that second category. They are so spooked by the date on the calendar they can’t go to work. Some don’t even get out of bed, leaving hundreds of millions of dollars in business not done.
That kind of scaredy-cat behavior is hardly new. Dossey says it dates back to Celtic and Druid mythology and wild tales told 3,500 years ago.
According to the myths, 12 gods were having a dinner party in Valhalla, their heaven, when the 13th god, evil Loki, sneaked in and arranged for a hit man to take out Balder, the god of joy, gladness and light.
Balder’s murder, which cast the world into darkness, accounted for the original fear of the number 13, Dossey says.

So now, a lot of myth surrounding this unlucky day, and at 10.46am when I type to this paragraph, nothing bad seems to happen yet. It has been the best day of the week (of course I hope my valentine date tomorrow would be an even better day), birds singing, flower blooming, soft sunlight, light rain. Fantatic day for sleeping, which means it will be a bad day for me if I actually fall asleep at work! Haha!

According to lauyeesm shit happens, today, yesterday, tomorrow and anyother day. So being supersticious ain't gonna help, since tomorrow is Valentinte just focus on your Valentine date, or if you don't have a date, go to some singles party, there are so much of them in town and I'll be going to one too (okay having a date is different from having a relationship)!

Lost and Found... and what you wish may not be what you get...

During the pass six month, a lot had happen, broke up with my girl, my grandpa pass away, not getting any richer, most of my plans delayed.

Found a lot of deadline chasing after me, stock system yet fully designed, invoices that I need to key in, even bloody car that I need to get fixed.

A target, someone that I'm interested in... like I said what you wish may not be what you get, I wouldn't say that she's the kind of girl that I've been dreaming of, more like a random encounter.

Sometimes I wonder, am I just trying to grab on to something or anything, now that I've lost so much in a short time?

What is lauyeelosophy?

It was a little unexpected that this blog is still up at running after so many years, and definitely a huge chunk of inactivity. Started off with nothing but some personal nags, sharing some of the songs that I genuinely like and their lyrics, and some thoughts that I have no one around me to discuss with, bullshits that I've structured.

Soon I'll put everything into a mixing bowl, sharing lyrics with a structured bullshit story. I wouldn't update it as often as I'd like to but for people who like reading, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.

Yes a picture is worth a thousand words, but it wouldn't be as entertaining as a thousand words for sure.

Sincerely yours,
